Foodie backlog en masse

I’ve been vair vair busy since er, pretty much, April, when I moved into a lovely new apartment. Anyways, I have a great new kitchen, equipped with some beaut toys (like a juicer!) And I’ve been back into cooking with gusto. So without further ado, the backlog of foodie photos taken in my kitchen since April…

Very into the arabic shops in Copenhagen, here you can literally get everything and some. They have a huge huge section just for different types of dates. Popcorn in bulk, and cheap, every spice you could ever ever want, plenty of exotic fruit, veg and herbs. (I even found plantains and sugar mangoes à la Colombia!) All at amazing prices.DSC_0004DSC_0023DSC_0017Dates and parsely for a roasted salmon quinoa.DSC_0029 And the old classic, sugar mango and banana smoothie, that kept us happy all along the Carribbean coast.DSC_0007DSC_0029 (1)

Hipster tea…DSC_0015DSC_0010

Making dips for a sunny afternoon in the yard, basil pesto, red pepper and chilli pesto and babaganoush (and I found Crabbies – here in Denmark!)DSC_0008A nice olive oil bottle.DSC_0012DSC_0015 (1)

Steaming the life out of this poor little aubergine…DSC_0009… forking the life out of this one (to roast)…DSC_0001… et voila, a roasted aubergine, spinach, tomato and kale lasagne!DSC_0019 DSC_0022

The making of a wild mushroom and roasted cauliflower soup:DSC_0031 DSC_0048 DSC_0053 DSC_0011

Preparing a gooseberry, elderflower and leftover crumble (on a quick trip back to England – I love this chopping board!)Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset

A danish brunch on my danish windowsill.DSC_0016The direktørsnegl from Lagkagehuset is amazing.DSC_0049

Delish danish crackers, some homemade guacamole, tomatoes and way-too-crispy bacon.DSC_0006

My roomie gets Aarstiderne deliveries and they do veg by seasons. So been flipping through Jamie at Home (love this book) a lot recently to get ideas for to cook seasonal veg.DSC_0003

Ok so that’s it, a brief little glimpse into my kitchen for the past few months, hope you enjoyed!

Ps. I might be neglecting with the ol’ blogging, but I’ve become a bit of an instaholic, and update this with foodie delights pretty much daily: @thehazertazer on Instagram
