Three Course Extravaganza

For my papa’s birthday, I prepared a huge 3-course meal. Starter: Creamy Mushrooms on Toasted Sourdough, a popular lunch dish I learnt over summer working at Covean Café; though it sounds simple, there are quite a lot of finer details in the making of this one, and it can very easily go wrong (in the photos below, the cream is slightly too thick). There is no recipe, exactly, but I’ve written down roughly how to do it. We were all very full after the starter, and not quite ready to tackle the main course, Quick crispy chicken with tomatoes & asparagus. My first time cooking chicken went very well indeed! To finish up, despite having stuffed ourselves silly, another Jamie Oliver dish, Mega chocolate fudge cake. His photos are much better than mine.
